2. Click the MetaMask button on the top navbar or click the “Add Mist Testnet” link in the bottom footer.
3. Follow the MetaMask prompts.

If you’re new to MetaMask, follow the steps below to set up a MetaMask wallet.
Getting Testnet MIST Tokens
- Head to the official Mist Chain Testnet Faucet (https://faucet.mist.game)
2. Paste your wallet address (ONLY your wallet address, not private key), press “Request TMIST”
3. Check your balance. You’ve successfully obtained Testnet MIST tokens, which will be used in-game.
4. If you already have TMIST in your wallet, the faucet will not disperse TMIST to that specific wallet.
5. Once you have the TMIST, now you should connect your wallet to Mist Chain Testnet

A Guide for Newcomers: Setting Up a MetaMask Wallet
- Visit MetaMask’s official website or download the app for Android or iOS from the Google Play Store or App Store. MetaMask also supports Firefox, Brave, Edge, and Opera browsers.
- If using Chrome, navigate to MetaMask’s Chrome Web Store page or the app installation page. Click “Add to Chrome” or “Install” based on your device. The process is similar for other browsers.
- A pop-up will appear, prompting you to “Add ‘MetaMask?’” Click “Add Extension” or “Allow,” depending on your device.
- Once installed, a new tab will open. Click “Get Started.”
- Choose “Create a New Wallet” under “Yes, let’s get set up!”
- Create and confirm a new password. Read and agree to the Terms and Conditions.
- Generate your 12-word seed phrase. This crucial step helps restore your wallet if you ever lose access. Write down the phrase and store it securely in a safe place. Do not share it with anyone or lose it. Avoid storing your seed phrase in the cloud — opt for a physical copy instead.
- Confirm your seed phrase by selecting the words in the correct order.
- Congratulations! You’ve successfully set up your MetaMask wallet. You can now access your account, send and receive tokens, swap tokens, and connect to dApps.
